About Me

Hi! I'm Rosie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with particular experience in trauma-related issues, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ issues, and substance use. Throughout my social work career I have passionately advocated for racial, social and economic justice through the empowerment of individuals and groups including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, people with HIV, people experiencing homelessness, people with mental illness, veterans, children and youth, and more. My social work background has developed me into a more authentic psychotherapist who views treatment through a holistic lens encompassing many aspects of an individual's life.

I believe that people begin to heal the moment they feel heard. While I do incorporate interventions like CBT, trauma processing, mindfulness, and distress tolerance, my first and foremost focus is to be unconditionally on your team and on your side. Feedback I have received from clients is that I am a natural listener, and am genuine and warm in how I relate to people. When I am not obsessing over the personality psychology phenomenon known as the enneagram, I enjoy swimming in the many natural water sources of Texas, reading, cooking, yoga, and catching up with friends.

Rosie has been a true grace in my life. She opens my eyes to perspectives and to myself in ways I haven’t been able to on my own. I respect the things she says and really admire how to helps me view my world and predicaments

I love Rosemary! She couldn’t have been a better match for the variety of things iv been going through. She is kind, compassionate, and a great listener. Iv tried different kinds of therapy before and actually felt worse, but it’s so refreshing to feel better after a session with rosemary. It starts my week off heathy and happier :) or else makes me feel better if it’s been a tough week. So thankful for her and better help! Best money iv ever spent!

We've only had two sessions and I'm already thinking about things in a different and helpful way. This is my first time using talk therapy and I have been happy to have Rosemary through the process for support.

Kind, compassionate and professional! Rosie makes me feel like I’m talking to a friend rather than a therapist. Highly recommend!
