I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Addictions Counselor, and Registered Play Therapist in the state of Kansas. I have been licensed and practicing for the last 8 years. I've worked extensively with adults and adolescents managing a variety of issues: depression, stress and anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, and many other issues. If you can identify it as an issue that has caused you distress, I've probably treated it.
My counseling style is warm and supportive. I will challenge your thought process after building a rapport with you to help you in identifying goals for therapy. I utilize an eclectic array of modalities such as: cognitive behavior therapy, family systems, brief solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma focused therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy. While those are the main areas I utilize, I do pull from other styles that coincide with the needs of this client.
Congratulations on taking this first step to becoming your best self! I look forward to working with you.

She’s really good I like here she’s helped me a lot.
She is a very good counselor
Sohna has helped me tremendously. I have come a long way with her help.
Sohna is very easy to talk to, she is warm, and easily relatable. She helped me figure out my anxiety issues. Her worksheets were extremely helpful and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
I found Sohna and BetterHelp during a very difficult and painful time in my life. Sohna responded quickly with care and compassion during a time when I was suffering from severe anxiety. She not only listened to me but also gave me some thought exercises to do at home that helped relieve a small part of my anxiety. I would highly recommend her.
Sohna send me some good worksheets that really make me think about my problems and anxieties in a more rational way.
