About me

Hello, my name is Stephanie Perdue. I view it as a privilege to walk alongside individuals who are seeking counsel for life's challenges. I would like to partner with you to help you overcome these challenges.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has worked both as a clinician and as a clinical supervisor for over 22 years. I have worked with children and adolescents who have experienced sexual abuse, neglect or some other form of trauma, as well as adults struggling with anxiety, life changes, and/or have experienced childhood trauma themselves. The majority of my work has been focused on areas of trauma, anxiety and attachment.

As an adoptive parent myself, I have a heart and desire to also help parents meet and understand the needs of their adopted child. I have spent over 18 years counseling and coaching families on how to parent from a trauma informed perspective.

I am excited to meet you and begin this journey together.

Receiving counseling from Stephanie has been extremely helpful for me. Her naturally empathetic personality makes it easy for me to open up about deep things, and I trust her expertise and advice. She offers practical tips and spiritual insight which is something I asked BetterHelp for - I couldn’t have asked for a better match.
