Tonya Boyett-Etheridge, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist serving clients in Texas, I bring a compassionate and faith-informed approach to supporting individuals through life's complex challenges. During my 27 years in practice, I have worked in medical, including a Burn/Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit; Mental Health as a clinician and supervisor for crisis services; hospice assisting patients navigating their final journey on this Earth; a contractor for an Air Force Base giving back to members and their family members needing help with relocation concerns. My professional background has helped me to assist people in navigating emotional struggles, including depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, and addiction.
I specialize in creating a supportive environment where clients can explore difficult emotions like guilt, shame, and grief while developing stronger communication skills and self-understanding. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with a Christian perspective, offering holistic support for those seeking healing and personal growth. My relationship with God is of utmost importance to me, and I would be privileged to share my journey with God; on the other hand, if clients do not share this same faith, I would still be honored to serve and help where I can.
My commitment is to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and understanding, helping you build resilience and discover pathways toward emotional wellness. Whether you're dealing with stress, relationship challenges, or past trauma, I'm dedicated to providing thoughtful, personalized guidance that honors your individual journey.

Tonya Boyett-Etheridge has been a great help and support. She is proactive and doesn't just listen and then say time is up. Tonya manages the time well and gives me resources and feedback, she helps me set goals and gives homework that only applies to what I am dealing with at the time or working on. She has been a big help.

After trying a few therapists, after just two sessions I am confident I have been connected with a great therapist. Tonya is considerate and coming from a faith based perspective, it brings me comfort knowing I am receiving both professional and spiritual guidance. I am hopeful about the growth and good things to come while working with her!
