About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through periods of transition, grief, anxiety, creative burnout, and identity exploration. My background bridges private practice, digital mental health innovation, and executive advisement giving me a broad perspective on the inner lives of high-performing, thoughtful people navigating complex challenges.

My approach is psychodynamic and depth-oriented. This means we won’t rush to fix or label. Instead, we’ll create space to understand; not just what you’re struggling with, but how your story has formed, what it asks of you now, and what deeper truth is waiting beneath the surface.

I’ve trained in psychoanalytic therapy, existential psychology, and narrative integration. Over the years, I’ve worked with professionals, founders, creatives, and caregivers; people who may appear “fine” on the outside, but carry quiet ache, questions of purpose, or a longing to be more deeply seen.

Therapy with me is intentional, reflective, and relational. We move at a deliberate pace, guided by honesty, safety, and a shared commitment to your process.

If you're seeking not just tools, but insight; if you’re ready to understand yourself in a fuller way, I welcome the chance to work with you.

Warmly,
Wilfred

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Wilfred Krenn. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

From my 12yo niece:"Tell your therapist I said thank you for fixing my aunt."
I think that sums up my journey with Wilfred Krenn. I know "fix" isn't the best word to use in therapy but that was her way of expressing the improvement that even someone as young as her noticed in me.

I've learned a lot from Wilfred and I will forever be thankful that i had the opportunity to work with him as long as I have.
I was anxious to do therapy but his understanding, open-mindedness, patience, kindness and guidance made it feel safe and worthwhile to try.
Despite coming from a completely different culture from Wilfred, he was able to be understanding, knowledgeable and flexible in what works for me. I'm eternally grateful and cannot recommend working with him enough.
I will use all what I've learned from him moving forward.

Amazing therapist. After trying out 15 different therapists along the years, he is the first to make me feel actually heard and understood.

My strongest recommendation for Wilfred - from relationships, to identify, to self awareness and body image - he’s incredible.

Wilfred is understanding and helpful, making important connections between my feelings and behavior that I had no realized were there. He has helped me process trauma from my childhood and develop coping skills that are based on understanding who I am and how my brain works.

Wilfred properly listens, understands my problems and gives great advice. I was nervous about counseling at first, but as soon as we spoke I felt at ease. I highly recommend Wilfred.
