Some of my experiences have been working with individuals with depression, anxiety, emotional and physical abuse, relationship issues. My style is warm and non judgmental. I feel labels limit us but my treatment style can be adjusted to your individual needs. I have used Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, DBT and even Play therapy and yes even adults can benefit from this. I attend trainings and even at my age I enjoy learning new treatment types. I have enjoyed recently learning about Mindfulness. Mindfulness is as old as the hills. This philosophy or life style has lead me to be more productive recently. I know how difficult it is to reach out for help. By reaching out you are now prepared to work on the issues which are preventing you from enjoying a more rewarding life. Sometimes you feel better just to have someone who will listen to you without judgement and offer occasional advice to help you deal with conflicts. Now you have reached out I look forward to help develop an individual treatment plan and working with you to overcome the problems that have caused you to reach out. *** Please note I do not provide Christian based therapy and I do not identify as Christian in my spiritual beliefs. I do not provide Christian or spiritual based services that include Bible wisdom and prayer.

I have been providing counseling for about 25 years. I worked my first 10 years with the elderly population. For the past 15 years I have worked with all age ranges in a variety of areas. I meet my clients where they are, using Client Centered focus, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (cause & effect) of behaviors. I also use EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy) to assist with trauma. My clients are a critical part of my treatment plan development as my desire is to assist in their success - effectively working myself out of their lives.
