Rhoda Anang
I am currently an acute adolescent therapist and I have worked with adolescent ages 12 -17 years old and sometimes younger for the past 7 years providing individual, group and family therapy at a psychiatric facility. Before that I worked with patients of different ages including senior citizens. I have been practicing as a therapist in Oklahoma for the past 11 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is interactive, receptive and openminded. I was trained, mostly as a cognitive behavioral therapist; however, I am always willing and have used other evidence-based treatments to help my clients and give them the proper treatment they need. My personal philosophy is to treat everyone with the utmost respect. Being around different people from various cultures and background, I have learned to be sensitive and aware of other people’s needs. I aim to work as hard as I can, with all the tools and resources I can get to help my clients. I look forward to working with you!

Kelli Ellis
I am LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). I graduated from Southern Nazarene University where I received my Masters in Christian Children and Family Counseling in 2012. I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families for 9 years. I love helping clients with an array of concerns such as; anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and just normal life stressors like relationships, parenting, and self image. My specialty would be trauma from abuse (emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, and sexual) . I want to help clients see that what happened to them is not okay ,but it does not have to define them. They can live a life free from the trauma and all the shame and guilt that comes with it. I use treatment methods such as CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) it is changing how we think so we change how we feel so we can have better reactions. I also use Narrative Writing, which is basically telling your story on paper. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I am going to listen and I am going to challenge my client's thinking to help them grow and develop new ways of thinking and stop unhealthy patterns. I am going to teach them coping skills and help them see they no longer need me because they are strong enough on their own. I am going to treat everyone with respect and kindness. I am a Christian but I understand and accept not all my clients will be and that is completely fine with me. I pass no judgement because I have never walked their shoes. I do offer a lot of empathy and validation to all my clients so they feel seen and heard. I am here to help provide time and space for my client explore who they are and who they want to be. I work from a strength base model where I find their strengths a make them stronger. I also help them discover their weaknesses so I can help them develop strategies to grow and develop them into more of a strength. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and I want to say BRAVO for reaching out. Change can be frightful but in the end it is so worth it to be free of the burdens.

Marilyn Davis
Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor based in the Tulsa, OK area. My experience comes from providing direct mental health services to children, teenagers, and adults with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, stress, autism, intellectual disability, trauma, depression, ADHD, and anger. I approach the therapeutic relationship with a team approach and have deep respect for individual differences. Much of my clinical experience includes working with teens served on Individualized Education Plans (IEP) in Special Education in a public high school, and working with both teens, children and adults in a private practice setting. My experience is varied across these settings as I have provided individual and family therapy with children, teens, and adults in the community; have conducted research in both academic settings and inpatient treatment centers. Regardless of the setting, I believe that we all thrive and grow in an environment where we are heard and provided with compassion and respect. And, I proactively seek to apply this by providing a safe and respectful space to empower my clients to find their best life. My therapeutic approach draws influence from Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy, Social Learning Theory, and Motivational Interviewing. My style is a team-based approach as I seek to work together with my client to select treatment goals and develop a treatment plan that is specific to the individual. Regardless of whether your goals are as varied as a reduction in anxiety level is to increased social interaction, my priority is to join you and to walk beside you as you develop strength and resiliency on your journey to a more fulfilling future. Taking the first step in seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. So, congratulations on stepping out toward your goal of a brighter future.
