I retired from education in 2017 after spending 27 years as a high school counselor serving as the department chair for many of those years. I have also worked in the private sector as a Licensed Professional Counselor during those same 40 plus years, retiring in 2022. I retired to take care of my wife who was ill. Unfortunately, my youngest son passed away on September 2, 2025. In spite of my losses over the past few years, I consider my life to be blessed, and I thank God every day.
