Hello, my name is Sybil Guliford and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 20 years after graduating from Wayne State University with a Master of Social Work degree in Michigan. In past years, when working with Hospice, I provided grief/bereavement services to those affected by death and the dying process. Currently I provide counseling, intervention and supportive services for a diverse client population while working at a Level I trauma center. I provide individual therapy for those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and just everyday life challenges/stressors. I use a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, brief trauma informed care and Reiki.
