Canton was on the Mississippi Blues Trail, a series of towns that blues singers went through during the period. Just as Canton is one of the birthplaces of blues, many people that reside in the town today have blues of their own. It is natural to sometimes get the blues, but it is important that you face your emotions head on when the blues become deeper such as anxiety or depression.

If you are suffering from the blues, and not the musical kind, you need to talk to a therapist for help today. Counselors in the Canton area are available now to talk you through your emotions and help you find the root of the problem. Contact a therapist today.

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work together with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Using a collaborative approach, clients identify their life goals, take the steps to move toward those goals and enjoy the benefits of long-term success. This approach uses Rational Living Therapy (RLT), a cognitive–behavioral therapy. Using this approach, many people have learned and continue to practice new ways of living so they can feel the way they want to feel more often and do the things they want to do most with their lives. People have learned to counsel themselves to make their lives meaningful and more fulfilling. In my work, I focus on helping people attend specifically to what really matters in life: desires, dreams, and goals. I help people identify the mental mistakes that are at the root of unwanted feelings and behaviors. I teach them self-counseling skills to achieve their dreams and goals and to enjoy a more healthy and satisfying life.” The first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and you are demonstrating that courage getting started here!
