As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Texas (USA) I have worked with a variety of individuals (ages 3 and up), people in romantic partnerships, families, and groups from diverse backgrounds. As a mental health professional I have had the honor of providing services in a shelter for survivors of family violence and sexual abuse/assault, a substance abuse recovery facility, and a nonprofit community mental health agency. Additionally, I have regularly made presentations for professional groups as well as employee assistance programs and many types of social service agencies. I am qualified to work with Physician Healthcare Programs (PHP) and clients via Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). As a professional helper I assist people in understanding more about themselves, their relationships, and the outer world (society). Kindness, compassion, creativity, and patience are key to my work with you. On your therapy journey you will learn many new things about who you are, your needs and wants, and paths you may choose to move towards your goals. It is also my responsibility to help you develop healthier ways of coping and to assist you in exploring your individual strengths. The work of therapy can be challenging for many reasons and requires you to be open and honest during the process. Parts of your story are shared over time and I will be patient as you develop a comfort with the therapeutic partnership. Please note that my style blends listening with education and action. This style may be challenging for clients that desire a different design/process in therapy. If you feel ready to share some of your story, I am ready to listen, and will do what I can to assist you. Side notes: Please be prepared to start the therapy process soon after you request services, or after you get connected to me, and be sure to check the platform regularly for correspondence. If you are a returning client wanting services with me again, or a new client preferring to work with me, you can expedite the process by reaching out to the helpdesk and letting them know so that they can contact me with the referral. At this time I am only offering Voice Call (phone/audio) and Live Chat sessions. Please be aware of this before starting, and/or during, the therapy process. ***Because a significantly growing number of clients are disclosing concerns about sexually explicit media (SEM; porn) use and sexual choices that they, and/or their loved ones, are making, especially in the last few years, I am especially keen to continue helping clients struggling with varying levels of sex and porn addiction. Mirroring other forms of addiction, shame, secrecy, denial, and disbelief are significant barriers that keep these cancers alive. There are so many barriers facing true, monogamous love, even before two people meet. There are challenges we encounter when initiating, nourishing, and maintaining ingredients and processes of love. At this point in my career, I want to protect and promote monogamous love potentials all across the world, and look forward to continuing to serve clients seeking this possibility. Marilee Frazier
Hi, I’m Marilee. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or caught in patterns they don’t fully understand. If you find yourself overthinking conversations, struggling with boundaries, feeling anxious in relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted. Like they’re always “on,” second-guessing themselves, or trying to keep everything together on the outside while feeling unsettled on the inside. My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I help you make sense of what you’re feeling, understand the patterns behind it, and build tools that actually work in your day-to-day life. Together, we’ll focus on helping you feel more grounded, more confident in yourself, and more at ease in your relationships. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and genuinely supportive. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as you are without pressure or pretending.
Paola Garcia
Hi, I’m Paola! I’m a spanglish therapist who supports adult women navigating anxiety, overthinking, sadness, relationship challenges, and the changes life brings. I especially enjoy working with first-generation women, young professionals, and moms who are used to being there for everyone else but find it hard to make space for themselves. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say before coming to therapy. We’ll start where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. As a Mexican-American and first-generation woman, I understand how family expectations, culture, and the roles we carry can influence how we feel about ourselves. I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies. In our work together, that might look like making sense of your thoughts, learning ways to handle overwhelming emotions, practicing boundaries, or figuring out what matters most to you. My hope is to help you feel more connected to yourself and more confident in how you navigate everyday life. Wherever you are in your journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you make space for yourself and discover what feeling better looks like for you.
