Being a parent is one of the best things in the world but when your little one starts acting up, it can be a trying experience to say the least. If your child is becoming more than a handful at home as well as school, there may be a mental health condition like attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) involved. There are many therapists in Point Pleasant who are experienced in diagnosing and treating ADHD as well as other mental disorders.
Taking your child to one of the fabulous places in town such as the Point Pleasant Beach, Riverfront Park, or Jenkinson’s Boardwalk can be overwhelming if they have ADHD. However, if you get treatment, you and your little one can enjoy these fun activities any day of the week.

Pastoral Counselor with more than 30 years of experience. I have worked with survivors of disasters or crises, people who have experienced a humanitarian crisis, or who are survivors of migration-related trauma. I have also worked with disaster workers experiencing compassion fatigue and/or veterans experiencing adjustment issues. I consider it important to walk with people who seek accompaniment and a compassionate ear after a traumatic experience, as well as those people who because of their age feel overwhelmed and without desire to move forward, as well as those who have suffered loss and hope.

Life's hardships sometimes deplete our emotions. Loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and confusion consume our inner resources, and we might need help from a "neutral" person to detect what's going on and help us restore our inner peace, so we should be capable of having passion and delight in work, relationships and feel good about ourselves. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the States of New York and New Jersey and a trained Psychoanalyst. In psychoanalytic therapy, you'll gain mastery over your emotional world and feel empowered to deal with life's circumstances.
