CBT usually involves efforts to adjust thinking patterns and or behaviors that can help you learn better ways of coping with life's full variety of stressors. SFBT focuses on a change model that takes on problems one at a time, sets a goal and accomplishes it quickly. I I also have a number of hours of training in Executive Coaching as well and this provided me with a slightly different perspective on therapy that is slanted toward a problem solving model.
