Dr. Lakisha Brimage
Hello, my name is Dr. Lakisha Brimage, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kentucky, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider in TN and an ordained minister. In 2023, I received a PSY.D in Behavioral Health Leadership and graduated with a M.ED with a concentration in Counseling and Human Development in 2013. Over the span of my career, I have been afforded the opportunity to work with individuals from various backgrounds and walks of life, to include children, teens, military service men/women and their families, veterans, military servicemembers, civilians, and department of correction inmates. Working with such a diverse population allows me to become more cognizant of our differences but also more enlightened of our interconnectedness. I work with individuals who are experiencing with various concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career challenges, ADHD, crisis issues and other difficulties that may impair their ability to function in certain areas. With the help of client-centered individualized therapy and a combination of therapeutic approaches, collaboratively the client and I will work together in closing the gap between where they are right now in their life and where they want to be in the future. My goal is to provide you with the tools, strategies, and skill sets that are needed to address challenges and barriers that often interfere with obtaining your overall goal and future results. I believe that you have the power to accomplish your goals but may require some support, and that’s what I am here to do! It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

It may not feel like it yet, but even through taking these steps, you are making progress! Steady progress is what I work with individuals to achieve through several treatment methods. The approaches that we use may be different for each person, but my hope for each client is that they reach three things: a sense of understanding, a route to self-acceptance/inner peace, and productivity toward reaching their deepest desires. I am a licensed mental health therapist in Kentucky and Indiana. I was born and raised in a city-setting (Louisville, KY), but spent time learning and working in a rural community as a graduate of Western Kentucky University. My counseling style is nurturing but practical. My hope is that with the end of each session, you will feel understood and motivated, and will have a plan of action to work toward your goals. Some of my favorite treatment modalities include solution-focused, narrative, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. I have an open door to all races, religions, ideologies, and sexual-orientations. My specialties include substance abuse treatment, anxiety, stress, anger management, relationship issues, race/discrimination-related issues, life changes, and parenting issues. When I am not working in the role of therapist, I covet time spent with my husband and four kiddos. If you are ready to move forward toward better understanding yourself, your issues, and your solutions, lets get started! Don't wait another day to start working toward the way of life that you deserve.

Russell Price
Hi! My name is Russell or Rusty or Russ, whichever you prefer. My approach is casual, but also rooted in science. Like an astronaut might say they “always knew they wanted to be an astronaut”, I’ve always known I wanted to be a therapist. I’ve studied the more interesting psychological treatment approaches, like humanistic theory, motivational and mindfulness based approaches, but graduated from a rigorous Psychology program rooted in the science of Cognitive Behavioral Theory. My Master's degree is a Master’s of Science in Social Work. I believe that there’s a framework that fits everyone and every problem, but that good outcomes are rooted in a good therapeutic rapport as well as an approach that actually works. Let’s let your challenges guide our treatment approach, I’m here to listen and help you solve! Twila Hartmans
I am a licensed MFT in Kentucky with over 25 years of professional work experience. Much of my clinical work has focused on working with individuals and families working through the healing process resulting from trauma, loss, abandonment. Much of this work has included much attention to issues revolving around anxiety, fears, confidence, and self-empowerment. I believe that each of us is the expert of our own story. And that you already have been utilizing strengths; in spite of whether those are yet clear to you. Whatever you need to do, at whatever pace you need to do it is extremely important to me. I will very much follow your lead in this way. As your therapist, my role is to walk with you. To assist you in identifying your strengths, in learning new coping strategies, and to support you in whatever ways you may discover you would like to continue growing in your personal journey.
Scotty Caudill
Hi, I’m Scotty! It is my goal to join with you and guide both of us in growth through the power of the therapeutic relationship. Although I describe my therapeutic approach as eclectic, I lean heavily toward Relational-Cultural Theory. I believe that people grow in relationships that exhibit mutual empathy and empowerment. I have particular interest in the effects of trauma on an individual’s mental and physical health and methods in which those effects can be mitigated. Solution-Focused Therapy is an integral part of my practice as well. SFT is a solution-focused, future-oriented form of therapy that focuses on your strengths as a way to reach your goals. In this paradigm, you, the client, are viewed as the expert on your life. I have worked in the field of mental health for nearly 30 years. My clients have come from all age groups, educational levels, and socioeconomic statuses. I have worked with clients in community mental health, prison, long-term care, and hospice. I hold a Masters of Arts in Psychology from Marshall University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of New England. In my free time, I enjoy reading post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction. When I’m not reading, I spend hours enjoying nature in the Appalachian Mountains along with my Great Pyrenees, Ghost. Together, we will form a therapeutic relationship that will strengthen and empower the both of us in growth. Please contact me if you feel that I may be able to meet your needs.
