Since then, I have worked in treatment centers and free-standing mental health clinics via private practice, school counseling, and contracting with my county's Department of Human Resources. I am a 1994 graduate of Troy University with a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development. I am also a certified school counselor. I have a Master of Speech Communication degree from Auburn University. I have earned approximately 40 hours post-graduate in the counseling psychology and ministerial fields. My approach to counseling is cognitive, and I especially appreciate the solution-focused therapies.
