I've been working in mental health and addictions since 2010 and licensed since 2013, working completely in the state of Minnesota, but with a range from Moorhead to Minneapolis through my career. I love the work I do and can genuinely never say "I've seen it all." Things are constantly changing in the field and I'm really driven to keep up with the shifts. I have a BA in psychology and earned my MS in counseling with a graduate certificate in addictions studies in 2013. My first experience in the mental health field outside of the classroom was doing research for trauma-informed care in a group therapy setting and since then I have pursued additional training and would consider myself a trauma specialist. Aside from trauma I'm a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, change of life stage concerns, and stress management. The only thing you need to work with me is a willingness to try and the ability to be honest with me and with yourself. Through my time in the field I have worked with clients as young as 5 and as old as 97 with nearly every diagnosis in nearly every setting. I am passionate about teaching individuals skills that they can practice daily and providing psycho-education to make sure the individual I'm working with understands what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, and how it's going to help them specifically. Outside of the professional realm I really work to practice what I preach. I make my best efforts to go to the gym regularly, connect with my friends and family,, and spend quality time with my dog and my hobbies. I love trying new recipes and exploring the extensive "green spaces" in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. A former weightlifting coach of mine said "If you can do it for a minute, you can do it for a lifetime." He was talking about weighted walking lunges, but it applies to any changes you want to make to your life. If you'll have me, I'd love to join you on whatever journey you're looking to take.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois, serving women who carry it all. The ones who hold everything together for everyone else. The high-functioning, the capable, the ones people lean on. The ones who rarely get asked how they are actually doing. In my work, I support women navigating burnout, anxiety, identity shifts, relationship patterns, perfectionism, and the quiet exhaustion of being the strong one. Many of my clients are used to performing wellness long before they learn what it feels like to actually be well. Some are processing earlier wounds. Some are learning to have needs. Some are simply tired. My approach is grounded, relational, and deeply human. I draw from attachment-based, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based frameworks, and I pay close attention to the stories women have inherited about who they are allowed to be. I do not believe healing requires you to prove anything, earn anything, or arrive polished. You get to come as you are. You do not have to keep carrying it alone. You do not have to be in crisis to deserve support. And you do not have to have the words for it yet. That is part of what we build together. If you are ready to set some of it down, I would be honored to sit with you.

• I have been a practicing mental health therapist for over 20 years. I was originally licensed in Tennessee, then Ohio and have been in the Twin Cities since 2011. • Most of the past 20 years I have worked in chemical dependence treatment centers and specialized in chemical dependency in my private practice. I was a part of the Pride Institute for 8 years and have also specialized in treatment for the LGBTQIA in my private practice. • As a self-identified Transman, I have practiced openly where it has been safe to do so and have been writing letters for other trans identified clients for over a decade. I have worked with both adolescent and adult clients over the years. • I use clinical hypnotherapy as a part of my practice to help process traumas so that clients are not as obstructed by them and can focus more on other problems in their lives. I have been practicing clinical hypnotherapy since 2005. With Clinical Hypnotherapy (CH), I use metaphors to help clients understand concepts. CH is a powerful way to make changes quickly. I believe that one must visualize what that change might be like in their lives to achieve permanent change and deal with the impact that change manifests. • Another of my more recent specialties is I am a certified Reiki Master Healer and Teacher. I use Reiki with clients to help them relax, for pain management and to provide an alternative to therapy.
