Jennifer Bicknese
My name is Jennifer Bicknese, ATR-BC, LPC. I am a Board Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor. I am licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and have 11 years of counseling experience. I have worked in an outpatient facility with children, an outpatient facility with adolescents and adults, and a residential facility with individuals diagnosed with bipolar and schizophrenia. I have the most experience working with, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, sexual identity, LGBTQ community, life stressors, grief and loss, and anger management. I utilize two different methods of counseling. The first one is the practice of Art Therapy. Art Therapy is a non-verbal way to express feelings and work on overcoming obstacles. If a client is open to trying Art Therapy, there are many techniques I can provide to help with life stressors. By providing a therapy using art supplies, such as, paint, colored pencils crayons, markers, clay, etc., a client can discover key themes in their artwork. Through learning about these key themes, a client can better discover their own way of finding personal solutions to their goals of therapy. The second practice I utilize is a Person-Centered Approach. A Person-Centered Approach basically means I want to help a client find ways in which to overcome stressors through positive support and understanding. By using a Person-Centered Approach, I help to guide a client into reaching their own personal growth and change. I do this by assisting clients with what they feel needs to be worked through. I am here to listen and support, with no judgement present. It is my aim to empower and motivate clients through the therapy process. I look forward to learning more about you and helping you achieve all the goals you have set forth. Thank you for looking at my profile and allowing me to help you achieve a happier and healthier life.

Welcome, Salutations, and Best Wishes! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in the helping profession for over 15 years. The depth of my experience includes working in the following fields: Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Resource Development, School Administration, and the Judicial System. I have experience collaborating with individuals, couples, families, in addition to NGOs, faith-based organizations, and political representatives. It is my belief that I am not the expert in your life, rather I am just here as a conduit for change that you wish to see occur. Moreover, if I had to liken my role in your life to anything it would be the narrator in the GPS navigation system which provides clear and concise directions based on the destination you have input into the system. I believe that we will work as collaborators to achieve the goals that make sense for you. As a solution focused therapist, I am dedicated to brief treatment, adhere to minimal interventions, and do not delve into underlying pathology that may be present or family history in great detail. In our time together we will focus on the here and now in order to have you achieve goals in a concise and fulfilling manner. I look forward to hearing from you soon! ABOUT ME Hello, I have been working with clients, and families, for the past 20 years. My experience includes dealing with a variety of concerns that impact their lives. I believe that who we are and what we are have been, to some degree, influenced by others which is sometimes out of our control. Who we are, our identity, can sometimes get lost and we just need a listening ear to get us back on the right path. My focus in counseling will always be that we have choices in the path we take in our lives, which empowers us to regain control of our lives: regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in while on this journey called life. A friend of mine said to me during one of our conversations, “the time you wake up in the morning is your morning, but you need to wake up.” This is your morning because you have reached out and I am glad that you did. I look forward to working with you

Alexandra C Ernst
I’m a licensed clinical therapist in Pennsylvania with over 30 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, caregiver exhaustion, low self-esteem, and feelings of overwhelm or burnout. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, stuck in unhealthy patterns, uncertain about relationships or career paths, or struggling to balance everyone else’s needs while losing sight of themselves. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, overthinking, depression, grief and loss, relationship and family stress, divorce, workplace burnout, caregiver exhaustion, self-esteem and boundary challenges, and major life or identity transitions. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and offer non-religious counseling in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. My approach combines Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based strategies, and evidence-informed interventions to help clients build clarity, emotional resilience, and forward momentum. Together, we focus on identifying what’s already working, reducing emotional overwhelm, increasing self-awareness, and creating realistic changes that feel sustainable—not forced. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, practical, and nonjudgmental. I do not believe therapy is about “fixing” you. Instead, I believe many people already possess important strengths, insight, and resilience, but stress, grief, anxiety, painful experiences, or unhealthy relationship dynamics can make it difficult to access those parts of themselves consistently. Whether you are coping with a painful breakup, navigating divorce, grieving a loss, questioning your next chapter, struggling with people-pleasing or boundaries, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again, therapy can provide a space to slow down, process what’s happening, and move toward the life you want with greater confidence and self-trust. Reaching out for support takes courage, and you do not have to figure everything out alone. I look forward to working with you.

Online therapy and in-person therapy both connect you with a licensed professional, and the main difference is how you meet.
