Hello! Let me tell you a bit about me. I have worked in the mental health field for 25 years. I am a licensed mental health counselor licensed in Massachusetts and have a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Framingham state University. I have worked in a outpatient mental health clinic, home based therapy, a day treatment hospital and several school settings. My belief is the therapeutic bond of client and therapist is most significant throughout therapy. I believe strongly in the active participation of the client in his or her therapy. It is your therapy, it is all about You! The client needs to be heard and validated. The client needs to explore his or her feelings in the safest most comfortable setting. The client will feel the unconditional support and empathy from me, the therapist. My clients will explore their feelings and gain insight into the decisions they choose and slowly make changes for greater emotional happiness. I use a combination of several therapies. I have found The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with aspects of the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy work well with the client who is a active participate in their therapy. I encourage mindfulness and physical exercise throughout my therapy. As a therapist, I am never stuck on one therapy that is not helpful. I will pull elements from the Emotion Focused Therapy as well as the Narrative Therapies. My aim is to find just the right appropriate therapy for each unique client. The goal of Therapy is to help YOU explore You!!! The end goal for each client is to find peace and emotional stability. The client needs to feel comfortable in his or her own skin. I have a history of working in individual, family and couple therapy. My clients have often exhibited anxiety, depression, trauma as well as dealing with life issues, divorce, death of a loved one, suicidal ideation and relationship issues. As therapy progresses my client have verbalized a increased self esteem. The client recognizes and gains an understanding of his feelings which leads to greater contentment.

My name is Amie Diminico I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor(LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I earned my Bachelors Degree at Northeastern University, In Boston, Massachusetts in Counseling Psychology. Then went on to earn my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University as well. Both my husband and I work so navigating work and family life is always a task I can truly relate to. I have been married for 13 years and we have 6 children all together. Both my oldest son and step-son graduated high school in 2020 and trust me the struggle was real with all the challenges they faced due to the pandemic. My daughter is finishing up her last year in a college out of state and my step-daughter is working and navigating the transition into adulthood complete with all the stressors that comes with the territory. My oldest step-son is slowly adjusting to his first few years out in the workforce. Our youngest daughter is in her first year in middle school and although she is 10 sometimes we have to remind her that she is not a teenager. The majority of my work has been in a community mental health setting in the state of Massachusetts where I lead individual, family, couples, and group therapy. I devised multidisciplinary teams with the purpose of presenting cases for proper treatment with a global approach. I also acted as a liaison to help clients find meaningful employment in the community. I have worked with families and individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, abuse/neglect, parenting issues, addiction, and adjustment disorders. Through my ten plus years of experience in the field of clinical psychology I have acquired strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to evaluate the needs of a wide range of people identify areas of need and then help to plan and carry out measurable goals to attain maximum achievement and adjustment. I hope to motivate you in ascertaining your inner strengths and abilities. I aim to provide you with open thoughtful responses and to help create a safe, judgment free, confidential space for you to be able to share and trust your own opinions, while fostering confidence in order for you to realize your true potential. Deborah Gromack
Hello! My name is Deborah Gromack. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and am licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I am also a nationally board-certified Music Therapist. I attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Developmental Psychology in 1988. During that time, I was a research assistant and worked on studies examining the relationship between mothers and their infants. After receiving my degree, I worked as a teacher within the public school system and as a civil rights and fair housing advocate and helped to start a HUD funded organization which promoted fair housing practices. During one of the organization's multi-cultural music benefits, I was moved by the music's power to bring people of different social, economic and cultural backgrounds together. I wanted to do this kind of wonderful work on my own, but I didn't know that I could and so I didn't believe that I could. Soon after, I received a brochure about Music Therapy in the mail and became intrigued and so I began to research the profession. I discovered that Music Therapy was an established health profession in which music is used within a therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals (musictherapy.org/AMTA, 5/22/20). I decided to enroll in a Master's degree program in Expressive Therapies with a concentration in Music Therapy at Lesley University. During my training as a Music Therapist, I worked with children who were diagnosed with developmental delays, children who were war refugees, older adults who were dealing with health issues and issues around aging, and older adults diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I graduated with my Master's degree in Expressive Therapies with a concentration in Music Therapy from Lesley University in 1998. My education qualified me to take the exams for both Licensed Mental Health Counselor and board-certified Music Therapist and I've been certified in both since 1998. Since that time, I have worked as a Music Therapist, Expressive Arts Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with older adults and adults diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, Children and Adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Children and Adults with various developmental delays. In my practice as a Mental Health Counselor, I have worked with children, young adults and adults who are dealing with a variety of issues ranging from depression, anxiety, family issues, to major life changes and trauma. It has been my experience that the expressive or creative arts therapies provide a person with a 'safe container' for thoughts and emotions which are difficult to hold and express. Music, art, poetry, theatre, storytelling and writing help us to clarity and to express those things which are difficult to express in any other way. My clinical orientation is as a client-centered therapist. In seeking out help, you are taking an important step in advocating for yourself. I believe that you, the client, are the one who directs the therapeutic relationship. I fully acknowledge that seeking therapy is a powerful action and that it requires trust. You are opening yourself up to being seen and heard within a relationship with another person. You are the one who decides to take this step and it is important to acknowledge this. I've told you a bit about myself because I have come to learn, both personally and professionally, that the stories which we tell influence our thoughts, our feelings, beliefs, intentions and actions in the world. Our stories shape our reality, they define where we are at. My clear intention is to meet you exactly where you are at and to offer help to you using the creative arts to assist you and it is entirely up to you if we decide to use them. Please contact me if you are interested in working with me. I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Deborah Gromack, M.A., MT-BC, LMHC

Hello! I am so glad you are here and look forward to getting to know you and your goals for therapy. I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience. My interpersonal style is warm, empathetic, and professional. I am highly interested and engaged with the process of understanding and helping. Below is a bit about my background: Therapy Approach: My clinical and interpersonal style is warm, casual, empathetic, and always professional. My overarching approach tends to transcend theory and embrace the foundational skills of active listening, gentle redirecting, validation, and staying connected while confronting issues that need attention. I tend to think holistically and spiritually. Theoretical applications I use include Person-Centered and Psychodynamic, as each client is multi- layered and more than one theory or technique may be useful. Primarily my theoretical lens is Existential, grounded in the idea that we as human beings are faced with making meaning of our environment, understanding ourselves, and the realization that we can direct our lives. There is challenge in this but also great freedom. Technical Options: I am potentially a good match for those who are interested in Live Chat Typing Sessions or Phone Sessions. When I discovered that Video sessions were causing some eye strain and switched to Live Chat Typing Sessions and Phone Sessions I was pleasantly surprised that the richness and texture of therapy was not reduced. In some ways there is even more connection and clarity. Areas of Clinical Specialty include but aren't limited to the following: Grief/Bereavement Pregnancy Loss/Infant Loss Anxiety Social Anxiety Depression Spiritual Issues Life Transitions Career and Professional Concerns Transgender/ LGBTQ ally Trauma History Chronic Illness Relationship issues Sexuality issues Pregnancy and child rearing Parenting Issues It is often in high pitched pain or struggle that one finds her/his/theirself seeking therapy. I am sensitive to this process and strive always to create a comfortable, relaxed therapeutic space. My experience includes providing therapy to those with trauma histories at a partial hospitalization program, counseling college students with issues of identity, sexuality, and life transitions at a university counseling center, and several years providing therapy to those with anxiety/depression, grief/bereavement, and other issues of clinical concern at an outpatient mental health clinic. I consider it a privilege to help clients from all backgrounds from their place of difficulty to a healthy realization of their goals.
