Are you feeling stuck, empty, or disconnected? You may be working harder than necessary because you are fighting against patterns that developed over many years. If you find yourself stuck in the same patterns, there is a way to break free. You can feel peace about your past and excitement and hope towards your future. We all have the courage and wisdom within us, but at times we need help reconnecting with those strengths and reinforce the tools needed to move through difficult issues. If you want to break this cycle, you're in the right place! My name is Bob Wubbenhorst and I am excited to walk along with you on your wellness journey! I have an earned Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Clinical Hypnotherapist (CHt), and a Vermont Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). In over 16 years of practice, I have worked in a wide variety of locations, including community mental health, higher education and private practice, providing both individual and group counseling. My theoretical orientation is considered integrative with a focus on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Hypnotherapy. Specific clinical populations that I have served include veterans, law enforcement, severely mentally ill adults in a day treatment setting, and school-based clinical work in secondary education, among others. I have extensive experience in counselor education and supervision (including both graduate interns and post-masters licensure candidates) crisis intervention, suicide prevention and mental health first-aid. My clinical focus is varied but mostly I work with clients that have experienced depression, anxiety and trauma. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to talk more. I understand that finding the right counselor can take time, and I take no offense if we try this out and you feel like it isn't the right fit. Overall, I value honesty and want you to feel empowered to do what's best for you.

Nicole Williams
Hello, My name is Nicole Williams and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the beautiful state of Vermont. I moved here from New Jersey 30 years ago after graduating from the University of Delaware with my BS in Individual and Family Studies. In 2000, I received my Masters Degree from Northern Vermont University in Counseling with a dual licensure in mental health counseling and school counseling. My work has included private practice, community mental health, and counseling in educational settings. Throughout my 20+ year career as a counselor, I have developed my approach and methods through extensive study and experience. My work with adolescents and families as a counselor has always been incredibly rewarding. My practice has allowed me to help clients experiencing a great number of issues including, compassion fatigue, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss issues, as well as life transitions. I’ve found that my personal interests; a love of music, spending time with family and friends, and always seeking out opportunities for humor and laughter helps me see the beauty that life offers. I also truly recognize and consider that our lives can be difficult, stressful and confusing, which leads us to needing more support at times and opening ourselves up to new ideas and perspectives and that will improve our lives and increase our happiness. The foundation of my counseling practice is trauma-informed and I pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as; client centered , solution focused ,skill based (CBT) and Humanistic. My approach is comprehensive and holistic, The work we engage in together will build on the natural supports that are present in your life and build on those foundations. I pride myself on developing trusting relationships with my clients that offer a kind, compassionate, non-judgmental space for them to deepen their own identities and beliefs. I look forward to meeting with you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
