I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. I graduated with my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2016. Since that time, I have worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of different settings. Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor who lives in Florida. I received my M.Ed./Ed.S. degrees from the University of Florida. I have been working as a therapist in the mental health field for over 15 years in residential and outpatient treatment centers for substance abuse as well as outpatient mental health facilities. I have worked with a variety of issues that include depression, anxiety (in its many forms), existential issues and lack of meaning/purpose, addiction, trauma, identity, and low self-esteem. I have run therapy groups on these topics as well as: creating rules for happiness, communication, analyzing problems, and conflict resolution; which makes it sound like I have seen it all but I learn from my clients each day. I enjoy being able to provide mental health services to those who are struggling with life's varied possibilities and challenges. To me, therapy is an egalitarian process. I believe that you have the ability to change and find meaning in your life. I refer to myself as an existential, narrative, and reality therapist but I have also used feminist theory when needed as well as behavioral analysis.
